Halesi Mahadev and Janakpurdham tour conclude with Namo Buddha stupa, Kuseshowr Mahadev, Halesi Martirka in Khotang, and Janakpurdham. As we travel through the narrow road it takes us around 8 – 9 hours to reach Halesi Mahadev. Halesi Mahadev is two feet tall Shiva Linga that enshrines inside the Cave. There are two pillars close to each other on the north of the Shiva Linga making a narrow pass. Additionally, it is believed that sinners cannot pass through this passage. But confessions of the wrongs committed would enable access through. Thousands of devotees come to offer worship the symbol of Lord Shiva in Halei. They believe that Halesi Mahadev blesses the poor with prosperity and the ignorant with knowledge and wisdom.

Itinerary
Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to the direction of Bhaktapur, Banepa, Dhulikhel and then reach Namobuddha stupa which is believed to be erected over the relic of Bodhisattva who sacrificed himself to feed starving mother tigress and her cubs. Namobuddha at 1,700m is also providing a panoramic view of the Himalayas.
After then, we will continue our drive to Kuseshowr Mahadev. Visit the temple, and we will have a short break for lunch. After then we will drive continue further to reach our finale destination bypassing the Nepalthok, Khurkot, Ghurmi then finally we will reach Halesi. The Halesi-Maratika Caves are located next to the village of Mahadevasthan, in the Khotang District of Nepal, about 185 km southwest of Mount Everest. Check-in and overnight in Halesi.

Wake up early morning and we will visit the Halesi Mahadev temple offering prayers to the Halesi Mahadev which is a popular Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site. It stands at an altitude of 1500m, and the temple is inside the cave (20m below) and lies between the Dudh Koshi and Koshi River. The Halesi Mahadev temple is dedicated to the Lord Mahadev and it is believed that Mahadev was hiding inside the cave from the demon Bhasmasur. After finishing the prayer, enjoy the amazing natural beauty and surrounding landscape views.
After finishing the prayer, we will return to the hotel and enjoy the breakfast. Then, remaining day free and relaxing in Halesi. Overnight in Halesi.

Have your breakfast at your Lodge. After finishing the breakfast, we will prepare for the check-out and drive further to another one of the holiest historical places where Ram and Sita got married Janakpurdham. It is situated 215km via B.P. Highway and Khurkot-Ghurmi Madhya Pahadi Highway at the Dhanusha district of Nepal. After reaching Janakapur, check-in and relax at the hotel.

Today early morning visit to the Janakpurdham and worship in the Ram Sita Mandir. Janakpurdham is one of the holiest cities among Hindu people. Devotees from Nepal, India and Sri Lanka do visit this holy place on different occasions. After worshipping, back to the hotel and have your breakfast.
After breakfast, we will walk around and visit Ratna Sagar which is a sacred pond in 10 minutes’ walking distance from the Ram Janaki temple. After then, the remaining day remains for relaxing. You can visit the Ram Sita temple again walk around and enjoy your free time on your own. Eat evening dinner at the hotel and overnight in Janakpur.
